SidingMatch.com a patent-pending Web application was formed to assist the insurance and contracting industries in identifying vinyl, aluminum and steel residential siding. One of the more challenging situations is identifying a siding in order to purchase additional material. This is understandable due to the numerous manufacturers, the constantly changing grain patterns and colors. These factors make the identification of damaged siding the most difficult step in locating additional siding materials..

SidingMatch.com is in the process of developing a unique, easy-to-use Web-based database to assist in identifying and verifying the availability of siding products.  Nearing completion, this will be the most comprehensive siding resource in today's marketplace, saving both time and money. Web launch for self service siding identification is now testing and will launch soon. Call for a demonstration.

What you will receive.

A siding match can result in one of the following ways:
  • Siding identified as currently manufactured - manufactures' information provided.
  • Siding identified as discontinued – any similar materials available in the market today are suggested and/or the location of a supplier with your discontinued materials is provided from our nationwide database. Similar suggestions will be rated how similar on a scale from 1-5 in three categories: profile, grain and color (color rates both as it was new and as it looks now).
  • Hand matching with a sample allows SidingMatch to most thoroughly match color. Siding fades with exposure sometimes a similar siding is suggested over the original manufacture when this color is a better match to the faded/weathered color. In such cases SidingMatch.com would report the original material and the best matching material today. (When only photographs are submitted color may require site verification, which can be done through color chip rental)

Example report for discontinued siding that has salvage available and one that does not.
